Test Generation:

Students, who purchase their license individually under the LAPWARE UNIVERSITY or Students so authorized by their Instructors to generate a test from a template, have the capability of generating their own test with an answer sheet.  Any referenced diagrams used by the questions will be displayed with the question or printed at the end of the PDF file.

To accomplish this task, click on GENERATE TEST TEMPALTE from the main menu.  A list of those templates available will be displayed.  Remember, Students who are licensed under a Maritime School/Academy/University, etc. MUST be given permission to generate a test from a template by the Instructor. The Instructor must activate each and every template a Student wishes to access.

Upon finding the desired test template in the list available, MODIFY THE NAME AS DESIRED, select TEST or STUDY TEST mode as desired and click on GENERATE TEST.  Within a minute or so your randomly generated test will be posted under the MY TEST screen for you to either TAKE IN THE STUDY MODE (Green Background) or to view and print out in PDF format.  Remember to print out the Answer sheet as well.

A new feature recently added in May 2014 allows all students to click on "GENERATE TEMPLATE" and create their OWN template for the categories they feel they are weak in. Do go to the Reports - Category and select each Book and print out the list of categories for that book for reference whenever using LAPWARE "Category" Filtering.

One final note to all students.  You can only generate ONE test and answer sheet at a time with a maximum of 100 questions.  This prevents Students from filling up our file server.  Remember to print out the PDF test file and answer sheet if you want to review it later.  Once you generate a new test from a test template the original test and answer sheet will be overwritten by the second, and so on.
