We know that the NMC is adjust their questions and believe that they’re using AI to add a level of complexity to some topics like Rules of the Road. Here’s some recent feedback:

I just took my rules of the road exam for my CM/MA O Unlimited. There were a handful of new questions that are not on Lapware. Luckily I passed purely off educated guesses.
My exam code was 206
A few questions I remember seeing (I’m paraphrasing of course);
Where do the Inland rules not apply?
A. Puerto Rico
B. Hawaii
C. (Can’t remember)
D. Bermuda (this is the answer)
The term underway applies to which vessels?
A. (Can’t remember)
B. (Can’t remember)
C. All vessels (this is the answer)
D. All vessels except seaplane.
Which of the following is only defined in Inland.
Answer: Law Enforcement
Several others I can’t recall. I believe two of them had diagrams associated with them.
